Christmas – Reading Workshop – Decemeber 2019
On Monday 2nd December our Nursery children invited their grown-ups into school to enjoy a festive reading workshop with us … and what a wonderful morning it was, with a fantastic turn out!
Thank-you grown ups for coming!
In the run up to the workshop, the children learnt two Christmas songs, with one including sign language! The children showed great courage standing up on the stage in front of everyone to perform and we were incredibly proud of each and everyone of them. They were beyond brilliant!
During the workshop, the children made festive bookmarks, played a game of Christmas Sound Lotto, decorated (and ate!!) melting snowman biscuits, followed a recipe to make Magical Reindeer food, shared festive books with a mince pie and a drink, they also sang, danced and played along to music with Mrs Webb.
We hope that everyone had a super morning and we look forward to welcoming you into school again soon to share more precious moments with your little ones.
Please find below a snapshot of the morning, including comments from those who attended the workshop and a selection of photographs.
