Fun in the snow

On Monday 11th of December, Bignall End was still covered in snow, but despite the snowy weather Ravensmead remained open and we are very happy that so many children and adults braved the weather despite difficult conditions. We had well over 80% of children attending.

At breaktime the children in KS2 wrapped up warm and went on to the school field where they had a great time playing in the snow, it wasn’t the right kind of snow for building snowmen but we still had lots of fun.

Afterwards, Mr Bell arranged hot chocolate and a piece of toast, crumpet or pancake for all the children to help them to warm back up.

Well done to all the children who came to school and a big thank you to parents, relative and friends who brought them, your efforts are very much recognised.
