Garden Party

On Friday 14th July, our annual Garden Party took place. The Eco group had worked very hard to get the new Key Stage 2 garden ready and they were able to show off their work to visitors. In the garden there are raised beds which are going to be used to grow vegetables and flowers, there is a bird house, shed for tools and a water butt so children will be able to maintain the garden. In the garden there were also entries to the unusual planter competition.

There were a range of stalls and activities including:

  • Hook a duck
  • Cream teas
  • Cake stall
  • Penalty shoot out
  • Plant sale
  • Sale of old school photographs

The school choir also performed a few songs on the stage.

Thank you to all who came to the Garden Party, over £1000 was raised which is a fantastic amount.
