National Deaf Children’s Society bus visits Ravensmead

On Thursday 7th February, the National Deaf Children’s Society bus visited Ravensmead and year 4 pupils were lucky enough to have a lesson on the bus during their school day.

The children learnt what it was like to wear a hearing aid, how hearing aids and cochlea implants work, as well as how they can communicate with somebody who is deaf.

The children really enjoyed their experience and feel they have learnt lots that will help them in the future.
